About Us

Ruff House Pet Resort is a full service resort and spa that opened in 2006. We have grown into a dogs' paradise built on over 43,000 sq ft in Riverside, California. Located near the 91, 215, and 60 freeways and open 7 days a week for your convenience. The resort has 2 temperature controlled buildings, several indoor and outdoor play yards, a dog training center, 2 grooming rooms, luxury suites (bedrooms) for sleeping and plenty of indoor and outdoor space at the resort.

We are a full service, "all inclusively priced", pet resort offering Boarding, Day Care, Obedience Training, Puppy Lessons, Spa Services, and Activities. Guests sleep in beautifully designed tropical suites that are clean, comfortable, and big enough for multiple dog families.

The play yards are completely fenced in like a dog park and always have a Supervisor with the dogs during playtime. Our large outdoor yards have grass, swimming pools, ramps and tunnels so the dogs have plenty of room to run! Our spacious indoor play yards are ideal for cold or rainy days and also have ramps, tunnels, pools, heaters and fans. These yards are ideal for smaller dogs.

We are designed for active dogs that enjoy group play which means that dogs aren’t left in kennels or cages all day. There is a staff member (“Pack Leader”) supervising group play in each of the yards and dogs are allowed to run, fetch the ball, and play with their friends. The web cameras are accessible 24 hours so you can watch your dog from home or vacation.

Meet Our Staff

Ruff House Pet Resort owners are active in the daily business. The full staff of Managers and Pack Leaders make sure we provide the best service to all our guests. Many have worked with us for 5+ years and they know the customers, and their dogs, very well. We have a Veterinarian Technician on staff and a mobile Veterinarian available to ensure the wellness of all dogs during their stay. Our Overnight Managers will ensure the security of your pets and they are readily available in case of an emergency.

Pet Resort Mascot

Turner is our, three-legged, Australian Shepherd that lives in the lobby. He spends most of his day greeting customers. Please join us on February 4th for his 15th Birthday Party! He will be so happy to see all his anipals!
